Give Yourself Permission to Dream

Time is one of the greatest factors in preventing people from following their dreams. It is easy to put off today what you can do tomorrow and before you know it, days, weeks, and even years have passed by.

You may have resistance to attending a meeting that focuses on your dreams when work is demanding, the laundry has piled up and your to-do list seems endless. Justifying precious time away from daily life—your career, your family, your home—for the purpose of attending a regular GROUP meeting can seem difficult.

You may find yourself using excuses such as:
“I’m too busy. I don’t have time.”
“I’ll do it when the kids are older.”
“Work is too demanding.”
“My life is too crazy right now.”

Excuses may always exist which means you may never find the optimal time to start or join a GROUP.

First and foremost, it is important for you to give yourself permission to dream. When you follow your dreams and take action, the empowerment you experience helps you manage life more effectively and with more enjoyment. The intrinsic value that you gain from your meetings far exceeds the actual time you spend at your meetings.

When you are part of a GROUP you become more efficient, better at communicating, stronger, and happier. Excuses do not have the power they once had. You plow right through them. Ask those who have participated in a GROUP and they will tell you that it is an experience you do not want to postpone.

“The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn, the bird waits in the egg, and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.” ~ James Allen
