Practicing Acceptance

Are you hard on yourself at times? Do you ever have an underlying feeling that you are lacking in some way, or that you are not "enough?" Feeling this way can cause you to be judgmental of yourself, and if you feel this way towards yourself, it's not uncommon to also feel this way towards others. Be gentle with yourself. Practice accepting yourself just the way you are right now. You can have goals and work towards those goals; you may want to become better at this or that - and that's fine. But how would it feel to accept yourself right now, right where you are in life, with all your quirky ways and unique imperfections?

You are a part of the "whole" - called by us the Universe - and without you our Universe would not be complete. You are supposed to be here - YOU! - just the way you are. Thank you for being here...and for being YOU.
